Mandarin Language Level 1 (UN00102) is a beginner-level course designed for students with no prior background in the Mandarin language. The course focuses on developing reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. It begins with an introduction to the Chinese language, including its pronunciation system and writing rules. Basic vocabulary, everyday conversational expressions and Chinese sentence structures are introduced gradually and progressively. The course also exposes students to some aspects of Chinese culture.
