This course is necessary to provide students with a sound understanding of the basic laws of electrostatic and magnetostatic field in the engineering context. This course also enables students to obtain knowledge on various concepts and theorems in electromagnetic and illustrate these in specific applications. The use of electromagnetic concepts in transmission lines and waveguides also will be discussed.
