This course will discuss the soil formation factors, soil formation process and relationship between the processes and factors, soil components, physical and chemical properties, soil biology, soil nutrient, soil fertility, soil erosion and soil conservation methods and soil classification. In addition, soil management practices in forestry, forest plantation and agroforestry will be covered. The students will carry out practical activities in the laboratory and field.
