An organization's senior management's roles include undertaking strategy formulation and implementation of the major goals, initiatives and business activities on behalf of the owners and stakeholeders. Such strategic management take into consideration of resources capability and assessment of the internal and external environment of the organization by providing overall direction involving specifying the organization's objectives, developing plans to achieve the objectives and allocating resources to implement the plans. This course therefore provides foundation for the students to develop strategic plans and management of orgnizations.
