This course introduces students to research methods and their application in business, with a particular focus on both data science integration and structured approaches for conducting a research project by applying the fundamental aspects of research methods and data science in business. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to a research project, for example, generating ideas in doing a research project that is involved in formulating research problems, designing a business research project, gathering and analyzing data, and conveying research findings and writing a scientific manuscript effectively. Students will develop their critical thinking in research writing, develop well-structured academic manuscripts, and ensure ethical compliance in all aspects of the research process.
