This course provides an introduction to Smart Technology, with a specific focus on the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT is a multidisciplinary field that integrates electronics, communication systems, software development, and data analytics to develop connected and intelligent systems. The course covers the fundamental concepts and operation of IoT systems, including device communication, sensor data acquisition, processing, and visualization. Through a combination of theoretical and practical learning, students will work with IoT hardware such as sensors and microcontrollers, as well as software tools for data analysis and visualization. Practical projects will develop students’ problem-solving, creativity, and critical-thinking skills while enabling them to design and implement IoT solutions for contemporary applications and smart systems.
