SYNOPSIS
This course covers basic statistics which comprises of topics such as: data description, probability, random variable, discrete probability distributions, continuous probability distributions, confidence interval, hypothesis testing, linear regression, and correlation.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of the course students should be able to:
1. Describe data using graphics and numerical measurements.
2. Find probability for discrete and continuous random variables.
3. Demonstrate hypothesis testing and simple linear regression in real-life application.
