The course introduces students to the definitive concepts of ethics, and the general principles that govern the behaviour of a person or group within professional environments. This course provides an introduction to the ethical principles and codes of conduct for Psychologists upheld by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the American Psychological Association (APA). This course covers the basic tenets of professionals and professionalism; main topics on theories, concepts and ethical reasoning, and application of standards for ethical practices.
