The URL module enables a teacher to provide a web link as a course resource. It allows you to link to any freely available online content and customize display options, such as embedding the link or opening it in a new window.

A URL may be used:

• To direct students to external websites, online articles, or journals.

• To share online multimedia, such as YouTube videos or external images.

• To provide quick access to external reference materials without cluttering the course page.
