
Globalization has led to an intense growth of cross-border transactions wherein individuals, firms, institutions, and governments engage in international business. This course aims to provide an overall picture of the scope of international business compared to domestic business. Students will learn to apply the concepts and theories learned in this course to analyze the environment of international business. Students can use the theories learned in this course to assess opportunities, risks, and management issues faced by firms operating internationally. Students will also be introduced to various market entry strategies used by firms venturing in international business.
