This course will discuss the soil formation factors, soil formation process and relationship between process and factors, soil components, soil physical, chemical and biological properties, soil nutrient, soil fertility, soil erosion and soil conservation methods and soil classification. In addition, soil management practices in forestry, forest plantation and agroforestry will be covered. The student will carry out practicals at laboratory and field area.
