Students will be introduced to the concept and issue of Intellectual Property Right Protections (IPRs) in economy. Students will be able to learn the significant role of intellectual property rights (IPRs) in assisting growth via various economic aspect IPRs has now becoming the new source of growth in the global innovation context and many countries in the world embracing it to stay relevant and competitive in the international arena.
This course is important to provide the basic theory and concepts of transportation economics. This course will enable students to acquire knowledge on transportation economics issues such as transportation demand, transportation costs and market power in transportation theory and application which will enhance understanding of the important of transportation economics to the other economics, politics and social development courses and reality in any society, countries, regional and the world. This course finally will enable the student to understand better the issues faced in the transport activities.
