This is an introductory course on managing international conflict in general. Students in a group project will be asked to choose a case of conflict across the world and encouraged to formulate academically informed research questions on the chosen conflict. Students will then engage in finding answers to research questions while lectures provide relevant concepts to handle conflict cases. In the group work, students are encouraged to consult with the course leader about how to conduct their group project as part of student-centred learning. Towards the end of the semester, each group conducts a presentation on the findings of its project and writes a project report. Students also take a mid-term MCQ test and a final examination.
