KE21303 MEKANIK GUNAAN [1-2023/2024]
This is the combination of Newton law of motions and fundamental kinetics and kinematics. This course introduces the principles of statics and dynamics. The scope of the course covers the basic of external and internal forces, employing vector for analysis, both in two and three dimension space (2D & 3D). Equations of equilibrium will be introduced to examine the static equilibrium condition for a body. Kinematics and kinetics of a particle are then discussed to study the dynamic system involving in a particle. The understanding of mechanic is required as an engineer to mathematically model and predict the behavior of physical systems. Especially for Industry 4.0, the behaviors of machine interface is well explained by applied mechanics in the areas of industrial production.
KE21603 SAINS BAHAN DAN PERANTI ELEKTRONIK [2-2023/2024]
This is an introductory course on solid state electronic devices for undergraduate electrical and Electronic engineering students. The course is also multidisciplinary in nature integrating electrical engineering with materials science and engineering, mathematics, modern engineering physics and materials property as well.
Introduction to semiconductor materials, fundamentals of carrier phenomena, operating principles of p-n junction diodes, metal-semiconductor contacts (Schottky diodes), BJT and field-effect transistors (MOSFETS and JFETS), etc and knowledge leading to understanding of photo emitters, photo detectors, power electronics and other optoelectronic devices.

The course has been designed to introduce the technology of solar photovoltaic engineering, grid-connected photovoltaic (GCPV) design and off-grid-connected photovoltaic (OGCPV) design. The main topic of this course consists of basic solar engineering, photovoltaic technology, GCPV and OGCPV system design, performance evaluation, operation and maintainance. The GCPV/OGCPV design software and related national and international standards are also discussed in this course

KE27003 COMPUTATIONAL ENGINEERING [2-2023/2024]
This course aims to provide students with an understanding of the role computation can play in solving problems. The students will learn to create computational models to understand and predict something about the world around them. Among the topics covered are optimization, data analysis and statistical learning. At the end of the course, the students will apply the learned skills to explore, process, analyze, and model data in a mini-project. This course will use MATLAB as the programming platform.

KE27103 ANALISA KOMPLEKS [1-2023/2024]
This third engineering mathematics course covers advanced mathematical methods that will be used in upper-level electrical and electronic engineering courses. It also develops the methods to formulate basic engineering problems in a way that makes them amenable to computational/numerical analysis. The course will consist of two main modules:
(1) Numerical Analysis including the concepts of sequences and series, knowledge of numerical computing of nonlinear systems and differential equations.
(2) Complex Analysis including rectangular and polar representations in the complex plane with associated forms of complex arithmetic, powers, roots and complex logarithms, complex differentiation, analytic functions and Cauchy-Riemann equations, Complex Integrals, Laurent series and Residue Theorem
MATLAB/Octave, as a robust computational tool, will be used to reinforce, enrich and integrate ideas throughout the course. Students will be required to work on a series of assignments involving computational work using MATLAB/Octave.
