Cross‑Cultural Management is a course designed to help students understand how culture influences behavior, communication, and decision‑making in international business settings. As companies and teams become more global, being able to work effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds has become an essential skill.
In this course, students learn:
• How culture shapes values, attitudes, and workplace behavior
• How to recognize and manage cultural differences in teams and organizations
• How communication styles vary across cultures and how to avoid misunderstandings
• How global leadership and negotiation strategies change depending on cultural expectations
• Real‑world challenges that arise when managing international teams or working abroad
The course mixes theory and practical application. Students analyze case studies from multinational companies, participate in group discussions, and work on exercises that simulate cross‑cultural interactions. By the end of the course, students gain a stronger ability to collaborate across cultures, approach global business situations with cultural awareness, and adapt their management style to diverse environments.
